University of Cincinnati Professor Paul Caron of TaxProf Blog has compiled a list of links advising law students on how to survive their first year of law school. If you are an L1 and have not been given any advice on this topic yet, you must have been living under a rock. This post got me thinking about the best advice I received in my first year of law school. “Go to the career services early” wins by far. At least, I found some money in my pocket due to a summer internship after my first year. It may seem too early to think about a job. Not so. Start learning the business of law sooner rather than later. What’s the best advice you received while in law school?
