Tip Bit #4: Negotiating Tip of the Week Podcast

Do you want to brush up on your negotiating skills?  The Negotiating Tip of the Week podcast with Dr. Josh Weiss, Associate Director of Harvard's Global Negotiation Project, delivers useful advice and interviews with experts in the negotiation field.  Most of the podcasts are only about 5 minutes long (the interviews are longer), so they won’t take much of your precious time, but the impact may be long-lasting.

If you want to test your negotiating skills, check out the interactive games from the Stitt Feld Handy Group that will require you to conduct simulated negotiations with animated computer characters.  Some of the scenarios involve negotiating a raise with your boss, mediating a conflict between two neighbors, advising the wife or the husband in their marital dispute.  The games are free.  The Group also offers an on-line negotiation course for a fee.
